In the end of the Ottoman Empire, nationalists cast into the Arab rebellion were caught and executed here, so they are also called martyrs square. マルジェ‐ひろば【マルジェ広場】 《Marjeh Square》シリアの首都ダマスカスの新市街にある中央広場。旧市街のすぐ西に位置する。オスマン帝国時代末期、アラブ反乱に身を投じた民族主義者が捕えられてここで処刑されたため、殉教者広場とも呼ばれる。
