Obradoilo Hiroba 【Plaza del Obradoiro】 "Plaza del Obradoiro" The central square in the old city of Santiago de Compostela, the religious city of Galicia in northwestern Spain. Located on the western side of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, known as the premier pilgrimage shrine in Europe since the Middle Ages. It is surrounded by historical buildings such as the Royal Salvation Institute of the 17th century (now the hotel), San Jeronimo Monastery of the early 16th century, and the 18th century Lahij Palace (now the city hall). The name comes from the fact that it was a quarry (obradres) during construction of the cathedral. In 1985, the Old Town of Santiago was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage). オブラドイロ‐ひろば【オブラドイロ広場】 《Plaza del Obradoiro》スペイン北西部、ガリシア州の宗教都市サンティアゴ‐デ‐コンポステラの旧市街にある中心的広場。中世以来、ヨーロッパ随一の巡礼聖堂として知られるサンティアゴ‐デ‐コンポステラ大聖堂の西側正面に位置する。17世紀の王立救護院（現在はホテル）、16世紀初頭のサンヘロニモ修道院、18世紀のラホイ宮殿（現在は市庁舎）など、四方を歴史的建造物に囲まれる。名称は大聖堂の建設中石切り場（オブラドレス）だったことに由来する。1985年、サンティアゴ旧市街が世界遺産（文化遺産）に登録された。
