Nagasima Shinji [1937 - 2005] manga artist. Born in Tokyo. Real name, Shinichi. It is a work drawn with a skillful touch of a stark youth image, and gained great support mainly among young people. Representative work "cartoonist cruel stories" "Futen" "young people" and so on. "Judo straight line" which gained popularity in TV dramas is also written part way through. ながしま‐しんじ【永島慎二】 [1937~2005]漫画家。東京の生まれ。本名、真一。赤裸々な青春像を巧みなタッチで描いた作品で、若者を中心に大きな支持を得た。代表作「漫画家残酷物語」「フーテン」「若者たち」など。テレビドラマで人気を集めた「柔道一直線」も途中まで執筆している。
