Salonga Kokuritsu dialect 【Salonga National Park】 "Parc national de la Salonga" It is the country's largest national park in the Congo Basin in the central part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The area is 36,000 square kilometers. It was designated as a national park in 1970 for the purpose of protecting the tropical primeval forest spreading just under the equator. Valuable animals such as Bonobo, Bongo, Okapi, Congo Peacock, Pangolin, etc. are inhabited. It was registered in World Heritage (Natural Heritage) in 1984, but it was registered in the crisis heritage list in 1999 on account of the deterioration of the environment and poaching due to population increase in the neighborhood. サロンガ‐こくりつこうえん【サロンガ国立公園】 《Parc national de la Salonga》コンゴ民主共和国中央部、コンゴ盆地にある同国最大の国立公園。面積は3万6000平方キロメートル。赤道直下に広がる熱帯原生林の保護を目的に、1970年に国立公園に指定された。ボノボ・ボンゴ・オカピ・コンゴクジャク・センザンコウなどの貴重な動物が生息する。1984年に世界遺産(自然遺産)に登録されたが、付近の人口増加に伴う環境の悪化や密猟などを理由に、1999年、危機遺産リストに登録された。
