Shoso Shoshi [Judicial scrivener] Person who creates documents to be submitted to courts, public prosecutors offices, legal affairs bureaus, and local legal affairs bureaus concerning registration, deposit, litigation etc, in accordance with the commission of others. Originally, he called it a substitute. しほう‐しょし【司法書士】 他人の嘱託を受けて、登記・供託・訴訟などに関し、裁判所・検察庁・法務局・地方法務局に提出する書類の作成を職業とする者。もと、代書人と称した。
