Sittown Pagoda 【Shittaung Pagoda】 Buddhist temple in the ancient capital Miaow in the western part of Myanmar. It is located in the north of the royal palace of Miaux. It was erected by the King of those days in the 16th century. The name means "80,000 Temple" and it is believed that as many religious relics of Buddha are stored. Inside corridors are decorated with beautiful reliefs depicting the Buddha statue and the previous life of Buddha. Shittown Paya. シッタウン‐パゴダ【Shittaung Pagoda】 ミャンマー西部の古都ミャウーにある仏教寺院。ミャウーの王宮の北に位置する。16世紀に当時の王により建立。名称は「8万の寺」を意味し、同じくらいの数の釈迦の遺物が納められていると信じられている。内部の回廊には、仏像や釈迦の前世を描いた美しい浮彫が施されている。シッタウンパヤー。
