Botataown Pagoda 【Botataung Pagoda】 Buddhist temple located in Yangon, the former capital city of Myanmar. Located in the city center, along the Yangon River. There is a golden pagoda with a height of 40 meters and it is said that inside it is stored the Buddha's holy hair and saint tooth, which eight monks brought back from India. Although it was bombed at the time of World War II, many treasures were discovered during renovation. Boatatown Paya. ボータタウン‐パゴダ【Botataung Pagoda】 ミャンマーの旧首都ヤンゴンにある仏教寺院。市街中心部、ヤンゴン川沿いに位置する。高さ40メートルの黄金の仏塔があり、内部には8人の僧がインドから持ち帰ったとされる釈迦の聖髪や聖歯が納められているという。第二次大戦時に爆撃を受けたが、改修中に多くの宝物が発見された。ボータタウンパヤー。
