Palmyra
Palmyra (English: Palmyra) is an urban ruins of the Roman Empire during the Roman Empire ruling in Tadmol (Tadmul, Arabic: تدمر, Alphabet Transcription: Tadmor) in Homs Prefecture in the central part of Syria. It is one of the ruins representing Syria. In 1980, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage (cultural heritage). There are many Roman-style buildings, typical Roman amphitheater, bathroom, four-sided gate. It is also called Palmura by Latin reading.
