Definition of ティハニ in the Japanese dictionary
Tihany - West of Hungary, the town of Hohn North of Balaton. It is located on the Tihany Peninsula, 5 kilometers long and 3.5 kilometers wide. There is a church of the Benedictine monastery built in the middle of the 11th century, and the tombstone of King Hungarian Andrash I is left in the underground chapel. The surrounding area was designated as the first nature reserve in the country in the 1950s. ティハニ【Tihany】 ハンガリー西部、バラトン湖北岸の町。長さ5キロメートル、幅3.5キロメートルのティハニ半島に位置する。11世紀半ばに建てられたベネディクト修道会の教会があり、地下礼拝堂にはハンガリー王アンドラーシュ1世の墓碑が残されている。周辺一帯は1950年代に国内初の自然保護区に指定。
