Copper was mined from the ancient Egyptian era, there are ruins of the temple and smelter at the time. ティムナ‐けいこく【ティムナ渓谷】 《Timna Valley》イスラエル南部、ネゲブ砂漠にある渓谷。エイラトの北約30キロメートルに位置する。国立公園に指定され、浸食を受けてできたキノコ状やアーチ状の奇岩が点在する。古代エジプトの時代から銅の採掘が行われ、当時の神殿や精錬所の遺跡がある。
