Dugga
Dugga or Tugga is a Roman ruin with a size of 65 hectares in the northern part of Tunisia. Formerly, Dugga was a Berber village surrounded by the walls, Tugga was meant for "ranch". Later, in the 2nd century BC, Machinissa King Numidia was the location. The Romans occupied the city in the second half of the 2nd century BC. Dugga was occupied by the Vandals after becoming the ruling place of the eastern Roman Empire. The impressive Roman ruins remained in Dugga, which was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
