Definition of ワット‐クータオ in the Japanese dictionary
Wat Kuh Tao Buddhist temple located in the northern part of the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Early in the 16th century, it was built as the tomb of Burma King who dominated the area. There is a pagoda with a unique shape like five onions on top of one another. ワット‐クータオ【Wat Kuh Tao】 タイ北部の都市チェンマイの市街北部にある仏教寺院。16世紀初頭、同地を支配したビルマ王の墓として建立。玉ねぎを5段に重ねたような、独特な形状をした仏塔がある。
