United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates is also called the Emirate of the Arab Emirates, abbreviated UAE. It is a country with a Persian gulf in the southeastern part of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia. It is a federal state consisting of Emirates such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Wu, Ras Alqama, Fujairah. Border with Saudi Arabia and Oman. The capital, Abu Dhabi, is the political, industrial and cultural center of the country. The largest city in the country is Dubai. Prior to 1971, the United Arab Emirates was known as the Treaty Organization or the Omani Agreement because of the 19th century British and several Arab Shaikh agreements. From the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, the area was called the 'pirate coast'. The political system of the United Arab Emirates is based on the UAE Constitution of 1971, and various political organizations are intricately intertwined. Islam is the state religion and Arabic is the official language.
