Algol
Algol is a star in Perseus. It is one of the earliest found expression binaries and one of the well-known variants. Algol is actually a triple of three algae A, B, and C, with Algol A being the brightest and periodically occluding. Therefore, the brightness changes from 2.3 to 3.5 with a cycle of 20 hours and 49 minutes on the 2nd day. Although Algo A develops an eclipse phenomenon when covering C, the change in brightness occurring here is difficult to detect without a sophisticated measuring device. In ancient China, when the algae were observed, it was called "timeliness" because a disaster approached the country and many bodies were piled up.
