Dumping refers to the act of selling, such as exporting at unreasonably low prices. This dumping action is likely to disturb the trade market. If a country cuts its products and exports them and the industry of the importing country is hit, there are many cases where importing countries impose high dumping duties on countermeasures and prevent the sale of cheap products. According to Article 2 of the GATT in 1942, dumping is defined as the case where the export price of goods exported from one country to another is lower than the comparable price in normal transactions for a like product consumed in the exporting country, It is introduced to commerce of country. Dumping is the act of discharging fuel to reduce the weight of the aircraft for landing when the aircraft is going to make an emergency landing for departure after takeoff. There is a designated area for each airport, usually only over 6000ft.

덤핑은 부당염가로 수출을 하는 등의 투매행위를 뜻한다. 이 덤핑행위는 무역시장을 교란시키기 쉽다. 어느 나라가 상품을 대폭 인하하여 수출함으로써 수입국의 산업이 타격을 받을 경우 수입국은 대항책으로 고율의 덤핑 관세를 부과하여 염가판매를 막아버리는 예가 많다. 1942년 GATT 제2조에 의하면, 덤핑이란 한 국가로부터 다른 국가로 수출된 상품의 수출가격이 수출국 내에서 소비되는 동종상품에 대한 정상적 거래에서 비교 가능한 가격보다 낮을 경우, 즉 정상가격보다 낮은 가격으로 다른 나라의 상거래에 도입된 것을 말한다. 덤핑은항공기가 이륙 후 회항을 위해 비상 착륙을 하려 할 때 착륙을 위한 기체 무게를 줄이기 위해 연료를 배출 하는 행위. 각 공항마다 지정된 구역이 있으며, 대게 6000ft 이상에서만 허용된다.
