Dubai
Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates, located on the southeastern coast of the Persian Gulf. It is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. The population is 2,106,177, the largest in the United Arab Emirates, and the second largest in Abu Dhabi, with an area of 4,114㎢. Dubai is the only two emirate countries with Abu Dhabi to veto the wrong laws that were determined by the country's federal council. The city is located on the northern coast of the United Arab Emirates and is the central city that leads the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is often mistaken for being a city or an independent country these days, sometimes referred to as the "Dubai" by the entire UAE. The first record for Dubai was in 1075 and was first mentioned in 1799 as a city. In 1833, Sheikh Maktoum bin Butt al-Maktoum officially founded Dubai with 800 people in the Barneyas tribe and now lives in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia.
