Gabon
Gabon or Gabon is a country in the midwest Africa. The capital is Libreville. The neighboring countries are Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, and Republic of Congo. After independence from France on August 17, 1960, he was reigned as president of the dictatorship. In 1990, the new Constitution enacted a multi-party, transparent electoral system for government reform. The population is small, natural resources are abundant, and foreign capital investment is active, and it maintains comparatively high standard of living in African continent. It was promoted to the French autonomous republic and proclaimed independence on August 17, 1960. On March 12, 1968, the Democratic Party, which was organized based on the races, was abolished and the Democratic Union and the Democratic Society Alliance were established, creating the only ruling Democratic Party. The National Assembly elections were held in January 1980. The government is externally advocating a non-alliance movement. The supreme legislative body is a unicameral national council and the head of state is the president. The government is the winner.
