dog
A dog is a subspecies of a gray wolf. Dogs are known as the first animals of human race, and have historically been raised as dogs and hunting dogs. Mitochondrial DNA analysis suggests that modern dogs and gray wolves have been differentiated about 100,000 years ago, and the fossil analysis of 2013 suggests that the eruption may have occurred between 33,000 and 36,000 years ago. Because dogs were useful in many ways, all primitive human societies raised dogs. Dogs are used for hunting, livestock, transportation, and security, and they also grow as pets. People have long since breed their dogs into a variety of varieties to suit these tasks. In many minority cultures, dog meat is eaten, but in many other cultures it has taboos that prohibit eating dog meat.
