Gyumri
Gyumri is a city in northwestern Armenia, the capital of Chirac, with a population of 150,917. It is the second largest city in Armenia and is located 120 kilometers from Yerevan. Climate is cold in winter, but relatively hot in summer. Precipitation is about 500 meters per year. It was originally named Koimairira. Alexander Paul, named after Alexander the Empress of Nikolai I from 1840 to 1924, was named Reninakan by the name of Vladimir Lenin from 1924 to 1990, To the present day. It suffered great damage in the Armenian earthquake that occurred on December 7, 1988. Located in Gyumri city at an altitude of 1550 m, there is a Russian military station.
