Recumbency An abnormal gait that can be seen by a patient who has one or both of the lower limb paralysis (especially when the muscle strength of the muscle around the ankle is prominent). Examples of such diseases include multiple (muscular) neuritis, peroneal nerve paralysis, and paralysis. 계상보행 한쪽 또는 양쪽 하지의 이완성마비(특히 족관절 주위근의 근력저하가 두드러진 경우)가 있는 환자에게 볼 수 있는 이상보행을 말한다. 환자의 족관절은 유각기(遊脚期 : 하지가 지면에서 떨어져 있는시기)에 하수하고 발끝이 지면을 스치고 만다. 이것을 피하기 위해 하지 전체를 보통 보다도 높게 들어올린다. 또 입각기(立脚期 : 하지가 지면에 닿고 있는 시기)에는 발끝이 우선 지면에 닿고 이어서 발뒤꿈치가 닿는다(정상적인 보행에서는 발뒤꿈치가 먼저 닿는다). 이와 같은 이상보행을 나타내는 질환으로서는 다발성(근)신경염, 비골신경마비, 마비장애 등이 있다.
