Antibody scavenging method When a precipitate is formed by a complement binding reaction, there is a certain optimum ratio in the relationship between the quantities. If the antibody is too much, the precipitate is rather lost and discarded. This is called antibody over-inhibition. When the antibody is measured using indirect red blood cell agglutination or the like, the reaction is negative when the blood concentration is high, and is also positive when diluted. It is also called zone phenomenon or zone phenomenon. Since the same phenomenon can be seen even if the antigen is excessive, the case where the reaction is suppressed due to antibody overgrowth is referred to as the front zone (prozone), and the reverse is referred to as the postzone (posterior zone). 항체감량법 보체결합반응(補體結合反應)에 의해 침강물이 생기는 경우, 양자의 양(量)의 관계에는 일정한 최적비(最適比)가 있으며, 항체가 너무 많으면, 침강물은 오히려 없어져, 버리고 만다. 이것을 항체과잉억제라고 한다. 간접적혈구응집반응 등을 사용하여 항체를 측정할 때, 혈철농도가 높으면 반응이 음성이며 희석해가면 양성으로 되는 것도 이 현상때문이다. 지대현상(地帶現象) 또는 존현상이라고도 일컬어진다. 항원이 과잉(過剩)이 더라도 마찬가지의 현상을 볼 수 있기 때문에, 항체과잉으로 말미암아 반응이 억제되는 경우를 전지대(前地帶, prozone), 그 역을 후지대(後地帶, postzone)이라고 한다.
