Eosan Source Nursing Dictionary | Eosan Granular white blood cells with granules that become red colored by the pigment Eosin. It accounts for about 3% of the total white blood cells at the normal. Slightly larger than neutrophils and basophils (12 to 18 μm in diameter, 10 to 16 μm in other cases). When allergic or parasitic infections are present, the number increases and the number is regulated by corticosteroids. 호산구
색소 에오신에 물들어 빨갛게 되는 과립을 지닌 과립백혈구. 정상에서 백혈구 전체의 약 3%를 차지한다. 호중구나 호염기구에 비해 약간 크다(지름 12~18㎛, 그밖에는 10~16㎛). 알러지 때나 기생충 감염이 있을때는 수가 늘며 그 수는 부신피질 호르몬에 의해서 조절되고 있다.
