Golden Langur
Golden langur is a kind of Old World monkey. It is found in a small area in western Assam province and a small hill at the foot of the mountain adjacent to the Black Mountains of Bhutan. It is one of the most endangered primates in India. It has long been sacred to those living in the Himalayas, and in the 1950s it was first scientifically attracted by the naturalist Edward Pritchard. There are bright golden to light cream hair, a black face, and a very long tail, 50 cm long. It usually lives only on high trees that roll with it, and it balances with its long tail when skipping between branches. During the rainy season, the leaves are drenched with dew and the rain gets water. It is an herbaceous plant consisting of ripe fruits and fresh fruits, young leaves and full-grown leaves, cotyledons, sprouts and flowers.
