It is also called a swallowtail stew. 황복찌개 내장을 제거하고 손질한 황복을 꾸들꾸들하게 말려 놓았다가 된장, 고추장을 푼 물에 무를 넣고 끓인 다음 황복을 넣고 고춧가루, 다진 마늘, 어슷하게 썬 대파를 넣어 더 끓인 찌개이다. 물장뱅이찌개라고도 한다.
