Definition of 인슐린저항성 in the Korean dictionary
Insulin resistance It refers to a state in which blood glucose lowering does not occur even by a large amount of insulin injections. The cause of the insulin resistance is the presence of insulin antibody and the presence of an insulin receptor antibody. Diabetes mellitus requiring insulin injections of more than 100 to 200 units a day is called insulin-resistant diabetes. Lipoatrophic diabetes is a type 2 diabetes of insulin resistance. 인슐린저항성 다량의 인슐린주사에 의해서도 혈당강하가 일어나지 않는 상태를 말하고 그 원인으로는 인슐린항체의 존재, 인슐린수용기항체의 존재 등이 고려되고 있다. 또 1일 100~200단위 이상의 인슐린주사가 필요한 당뇨병을 인슐린저항성 당뇨병이라고 한다. 지방위축성 당뇨병 lipoatrophic diabetes 은 인슐린저항성의 특수형 당뇨병이다.
