I also arrange music to be played on guitar, piano and other instruments or orchestras. 작곡가 오늘 극장에서 ‘해리포터와 불사조기사단’을 보았어요. 해리포터가 이모부 집에 있을 때 편지를 배달하는 부엉이가 나오는 장면이 제일 좋아요. 그리고 부엉이가 나오는 장면에서는 항상 멋진 배경음악이 나오는데 부엉이 발에 들린 편지의 내용이 무엇인지 정말 궁금하게 만드는 곡이에요. 어떤 사람이 이렇게 멋진 음악을 만들 수 있을까요?작곡가는 관현악, 기악, 성악, 대중가요, 영화음악, 광고음악, 애니메이션 음악 등을 만들어요. 화음, 리듬, 멜로디, 음악 이론 등을 기초로 자신의 생각과 감정을 음으로 표현해요. 작곡한 음악을 기타, 피아노 등의 악기나 관현악단에서 연주할 수 있도록 편곡을 하기도 해요.
