Second Republic of Korea
The Second Republic was the Republic of Korea's second Republican constitution which lasted for only eleven months from June 15, 1960 to May 16, 1961. The second republic system is the only constitutional system based on the cabinet system established in the history of the Republic of Korea, which was established by the 6th and 15th constitutions after the collapse of the First Republic by the 1919 Revolution in 1960, The president was Yun Seon-sun, the Prime Minister. After the April 19 Revolution, the Democratic Party led by the Democratic Party revised the Constitution with a cabinet accountability system and a bilateral system as the core of the power structure. According to this Constitution, a general election was held and the Democratic Party 's cabinet was set in motion.
