Kogan syndrome was reported to be associated with keratitis and vestibular dysfunction by Cogan in 1945. Most of them have systemic symptoms such as fever, heart disease, digestive disorders, arthralgia, and eosinophilia. It is thought to be a subtype of polyarteritis. 코간증후군 1945년 Cogan에 의해서 각막염과 전정(前庭) 기능부전을 수반하는 것으로서 발표되었다. 그 대부분은 발열, 심질환, 소화계 이상, 관절통, 호산구증다 등 전신증상을 나타난다. 다발성 동맥염의 아형으로도 생각되고 있다.
