Head
The headstock is a piece of wood or bamboo cut into a certain shape to record characters. It was mainly used before paper was invented or before it was widely used. It was also called 'Mokdok' or 'Mokpo', and it was used together with a bamboo leaf. In particular, the neck and legs are collectively called "liver poison". Since its discovery in China in the early part of the 20th century, military contents have been written in the West Gansu province, and other areas have been found mainly in tombs. In Japan, it was discovered for the first time in the 1920s, and about 200,000 have been unearthed to date. Many of them came from the palace of Pyeongseong Palace, which was the royal palace of the 8th century. In Korea, since the first excavation in 1975 in the Gyeongju Antarctic Peninsula Excavation Survey, about 500 sites have been excavated to date. It was excavated from the Silla Kingdom, and was excavated in the Baekje Kingdom and the Iksan area.
