Roh Moo Hyun Government
The Roh Moo-hyun government is the fourth government of the Republic of Korea, the 6th Republic. Participating government is a nickname of Roh Moo-hyun government and is often used in the press. The Roh Moo-hyun government proposed democracy with the people as a national goal, a balanced development society living together, and the era of peace and prosperity in Northeast Asia. With the inauguration of Roh Moo-hyun, who was elected in the 16th presidential election, the participatory government took office on February 25, 2003, and the Millennium Democratic Party became a ruling party at the same time, but Roh Moo-hyun withdrew from the Millennium Democratic Party during his term. It became a ruling party. It ended on February 24, 2008. The 17th National Assembly, which was launched in June 2004, gained public expectation for political reform from its inception, when democratic affiliated political parties secured the power of parliament for the first time in the history of constitutional history. However, as the four major reform legislations and the Committee for the Investigation of Historical Investigations commenced, the conflict between the two nations became more intense.
