Nonsan City
Nonsan City is a city in central South Chungcheongnamdo, South Korea. To the northeast, Daejeon metropolitan city, to the east, Gyeryong-si, Geumsan-gun, west to Buyeo, north to Gongju, south to Jeollabuk-do, Iksan and Wanju. Honam Line railway, Nonsan Cheonan Expressway, Honam Expressway and Honam Expressway branch will branch off. Nonsan Chun, which originated from Gyeryongsan and Daedunsan, was introduced into the main stream of Geumgang, and a wide and fertile plains developed in the Nonsanchon area. At the center of the city is the Top Jeongho. It is the largest strawberry producing area in Korea and designated as the Nonsan Clean Strawberry Industry Zone, and Nonsan Strawberry was registered as a geographical indication group mark approved by the Korean Intellectual Property Office. Ganggyeong, which was a large catchment in the past, is a place where Nonsan and Chung Kyung Chun are introduced into the Geum River. Salted fish is famous for its special products. Every year in Nonsan, the Nonsan strawberry festival, the fermented fermented seafood festival and the Yangchon dried persimmon festival are held.
