Oyster Drill It is a collective term for the stomachs that pierce and eat holes in oyster shells. In Korea and Japan, there are many species belonging to the antlers such as Thais clavigera, T. bronni, Ocenebra japonica and Rapana venosa. 굴껍데기에 구멍을 뚫고 잡아먹는 고둥의 총칭으로 굴양식에 큰 해적이 되는 동물군이다. 한국과 일본에는 대수리(Thais clavigera) ·두드럭고둥(T. bronni) ·어깨뿔고둥(Ocenebra japonica) ·피뿔고둥(Rapana venosa) 등 뿔소라과에 속하는 종이 많다. 조개껍데기에 구멍을 뚫을 때는 산(酸)을 분비하며 치설도 중요한 역할을 한다.
