Piraeus is a city of Greek Attiki, part of the city of Athens. It is 10 km southwest of Athens center. Piraeus is the third most populous city in Greece, with a population of 175,697 and an area of 11 square kilometers. The city center of Piraeus extends beyond the administrative boundary of the city to suburban cities with a total population of 466,065 and an area of 50 square kilometers.
