예천읍
Yecheon-eup is the center of administrative and industrial center of Yecheon-gun and it is the distribution center of the products in northwestern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do. It was once the commercial center of the Gyeongsangbuk-do province, and it was once the center of northern Gyeongsangbuk-do. Yecheon Soju, which is produced in the town, is well known. It is a place where the silk industry succeeded in residence. 예천읍은 예천군 행정과 산업의 중심지이며 경상북도내 북서부 지방의 물산 집산지이다. 전에는 경상북도의 개성이라고 일컬을 만큼 상업이 성한 곳이었고 또 옛날에는 경상북도 북부지방의 중심지였다. 읍내에서 생산되는 예천 소주는 유명하며, 상주 다음 가는 양잠업이 성한 곳으로서 현대적 시설을 갖춘 제사공장이 건설되어 우수한 실을 뽑아 내어 외화를 획득하고 있다.
