Bai Young
The Sai Young Award is given to the best pitchers of each league every year in Major League Baseball. This award was made by commissioner Ford Frick in 1956 to honor Sai Young, a pitcher in the Hall of Fame. Originally, Cy Young Award was given to only one player in the entire league, but in 1967, after Frick retired, he was given one for each league. The voting team, which judges the eligibility of the awards, is made up of reporters from the American Baseball Press Association. They are assigned two for each city in which the baseball team is located. The American League is a total of 28, and the National League is a total of 32. The score is calculated by the following formula. Total score = 5F + 3S + T where F is 1st, S is 2nd, and T is 3rd. The pitcher who receives the highest overall score in each league is the winner of the interim award. If a tie is revealed, all of them will be awarded. The above formula was established in the 1970s.
