Sankangjin-eup
Sankangjin-eup is located in the south-east of Milyang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Gyeongsang Province, and is bordered by three areas: Miryang, Yangsan and Gimhae. The river of Miliyang flows into the main stream of the Nakdong River and is called Samrangjin. It is one of the biggest catches of the Nakdong River during the late Joseon Dynasty. In 1765, Sangrang-dong was installed to store and rent the six villages such as Miryang, Hyungpoong, Changnyeong, Youngsan, Gimhae and Yangsan. , But the center of the town moved from the Samgangli to the Songji as the land transportation disappeared due to the development of the land transportation. Until 1928, it existed only as a place of nature and as a human name. But in 1905, Samrangjin Station was added to Songji and it became the center of railway transportation and the official administration was changed from 'Hadong' to 'Samrangjin'.
