Sejong Special Autonomy City
Sejong Special Self-Governing Province is a metropolitan municipality in central Korea. The Keum River and the Miho River flow through the center of the city. Daejeon metropolitan city to the south, Gongju city to Chungcheongnam-do to the west, Cheongju city to Chungcheongbuk-do to the east, and Cheonan city to Chungcheongnam-do to the north. In order to realize the value of balanced national development and solve the overcrowding of Seoul, it was promoted from the time of participatory government in connection with innovative city project. Hansol-dong, Dodam-dong, the government-affiliated administrative city center is being formed, and the governmental agencies of the 9-branch, 2-branch and 2-branch distributed in Seoul and Gwacheon were transferred to the government Sejong Government Complex. The former Yeongi County in Chungcheongnam-do and a part of Gongju City and Cheongwon-gun in Chungcheongbuk-do were incorporated and launched on July 1, 2012. The name of the city was selected through national consensus, and it contains the meaning of the world's best after the Myoho of Sejong of Chosun. It is a wide-area local self-governing organization that does not have a local autonomous entity under its subordinate. The government Sejong Government Building is in the middle of the sea, and the city hall location is worthwhile. The administrative district is one town, nine towns and three administrative towns.
