Centrino
Centrino is a brand name that represents Wi-Fi and WiMAX adapters. Previously, it meant the beginning of Intel's platform marketing, and the integration of the CPU, motherboard chipset, and wireless network interfaces into the notebook computer's design. Intel argued that systems equipped with these technologies would perform better, increase battery life and enable wider wireless network operation. These chips were developed at Intel's Haifa, Israel R \u0026 D Center, and since the introduction of Centrino in 2003, they had sales of $ 5 billion. The new product line name for Intel wireless products is "Intel Centrino Wireless".
