West Germany
West Germany is an unofficial name from 1949 to 1990, which refers to the Federal Republic of Germany, a divided country before the reunification of Germany, against the German Democratic Republic. For convenience, the Federal Republic of Germany after Germany reunification on 3 October 1990 is used as Germany, and the former government is described as West Germany. While it is common to see Bonn, the city where the administration of West Germany was located before unification, as the capital of West Germany, in fact the official capital was Berlin and Bonn was not legally the capital city. On May 23, 1949, the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany was announced in the area of the Western Alliance, and the end of the Allied Occupation era was followed by a single nation. The first prize was the foundation for the economic and social reconstruction and revival of Germany, which was devastated by the defeat of Konrad Adenauer and Adenauer, and solidified the foundation for diplomacy with pro-Western policy. West Germany has become a "miracle of the Rhine" based on its excellent industrial power and scientific technology.
