Cenozoic
The Cenozoic era is the most recent epoch of the geological epoch. About 65.5 million years ago, the dinosaurs from the end of the Cretaceous period were extinct Cretaceous - from the third boundary to the present time. The geologic age is largely divided into the Mesozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic. The Cenozoic era is divided into the third and fourth periods. Charles Liel, a British geologist who greatly influenced the British biologist Charles Darwin who advocated evolution, classified the geologic age in 1833 as the first to fourth phases according to the characteristics of the strata. In 1872, according to the animal fossils found in the strata, the geological age was again divided into Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic. At this time, the first and second periods were Paleozoic and Mesozoic, respectively. The Cenozoic era is a short period of only 65 million years from the geologic age. Of these, the third period is 63 million years, and the fourth period is only 2 million years. In the third period, the climate was generally warm and the preterm labor was active. As the Atlantic and Indian Oceans widened and the Pacific Ocean narrowed, the continental layout became similar to the present.
