Cytochrome Among heme proteins present in living cells, hemoglobin, myoglobin, peroxidase, and catalase belong to the generic name of pigment proteins. Cells, bacteria, fungi, and yeast of plants and animals are widely available. In one cell, several cytochromes are associated with mitochondria and other large particles, and they cooperate to act as a catalyst for cell respiration. 시토크롬
