Jamu

Jamu is a reference to traditional medicine from Indonesia. Lately known as herbs. Herbs are made from natural ingredients, such as parts of plants such as rhizomes, leaves and bark, fruit. Selain itu jamu juga dihasilkan di kilang-kilang jamu oleh syarikat besar seperti Jamu Air Mancur, Nyonya Meneer atau Djamu Djago, dan dijual di berbagai kedai ubat dalam paket-paket. Jamu seperti ini harus dilarutkan dalam air panas terlebih dahulu sebelum diminum. Pada perkembangan selanjutnya jamu juga dijual dalam bentuk tablet, kaplet dan kapsul.
