Kawi script
Kawi is the earliest writing system in the Malay Archipelago. It has existed in the 8th century M. The script was used to write in the kawi language spoken by the Javanese at that time. This article is then brought into other areas around Southeast Asia and sprouted into new writing systems. The original text is from the Vangki letter ie the letters of the Pallava people from Coromandel, India. This Kawi letter disappeared in 1400 AD Using the Kawi letters, Pallava and Rencong, the ancient Malays wrote it on the bark, the leaves, the pieces of metal and the stones.
