Colonialism
Colonialism is a term for a system that refers to the development of a state's power over the region and the people and the people beyond the borders of the country, often the party or authority that exercises the concept of Colonialism in developing its empire will seek economic domination of resources, labor, and value trade and market of the territory other than the home and natural resources resources and raw materials. The term also refers to a set of beliefs used to legitimize or promote the system, especially the belief that the moral of the colonial party is superior to those who are colonized. Supporters of colonialism argue that colonial law benefits the country being colonized by developing the economic and political infrastructure necessary for modernization and democracy. They point to the former colonies like the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore as their successful example of post-colonialism.
