Liberalism
Liberalism is a philosophy that puts individual liberty as the highest political value. A person who accepts liberalism is called a liberal. However, the meaning of the liberal word may change according to the context of a country. Liberalism emphasizes personal rights and equal opportunities. In liberalism, various streams with the name "liberal" may have different policies and views, but in general these trends agree with the following principles including freedom of thought and freedom of speech, limitations to government power, rule of law, rights individuals on private property, free market and government system transparency. The liberal people support the liberal democratic government system with a fair and open voting, in which all citizens have equal rights under the law. Modern liberalism is rooted in the Western Conscious Age and now contains a broad and rich political thought in terms of resources.
