Pineapple
Pineapple is a tropical plant. It is native to Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay. This plant is in a bromeliad group, a low herbaceous herb with 30 or more long leaves, sharp around a thick stem. Pineapple belongs to non-climacteric fruit which is only cooked in a tree. The fruit is known as pineapple in English because of its shape like pine cone. The original word Tupi for this fruit is anana, which means "excellent fruit".
