Rice is one of the cereals and is a staple food for many people in the world including in Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. In Malaysia, cultivated rice is divided into two types, namely paddy fields, also known as rice field, and rice fields or hill rice. Rice paddy or rice field is the most abundant type of paddy planted because it can produce high yields. Rice rice requires a lot of water and fertilizer use and needs to be planted in an organized way.
