Pusing is located in the district of Batu Gajah, Perak Darul Ridzuan. Pusing is located about 5km from Batu Gajah and 14km from Ipoh. Most of the residents here are Hakka-Chinese, but also Malays, Indians and Sikhs living in Pusing. Pusing is a town once rich in tin. Its growth was due to tin mining, however, Pusing was declining due to the fall in tin price during the 1970s. Pusing town became the main location of the film Lieutenant Adnan bin Saidi because the row of two of its shop houses is still resembling the Japanese occupation era 1941.

Pusing terletak dalam daerah Batu Gajah, Perak Darul Ridzuan. Pusing terletak kira-kira 5km dari Batu Gajah dan 14km dari Ipoh. Penduduk di sini kebanyakan ialah orang Cina yang berketurunan Hakka, tetapi juga terdapat penduduk Melayu, India dan Sikh tinggal di Pusing. Pusing merupakan sebuah pekan yang pernah kaya dengan bijih timah. Perkembangannya disebabkan oleh perlombongan bijih timah, walaubagaimanapun Pusing semakin merosot akibat kejatuhan harga bijih timah semasa tahun 1970-an. Pekan Pusing menjadi lokasi utama filem Leftenan Adnan bin Saidi kerana deretan dua rumah kedainya masih lagi menyerupai zaman penjajahan Jepun 1941 dahulu.
