PRONUNCIATION OF SABAT IN MALAY

Sabat

WHAT DOES SABAT MEAN IN MALAY?

Sabbath

In some religions, the Sabbath or Shabbat is generally a day reserved for religious practices only. It was said that during the Prophet Musa's death on Mount Sinai before the fall of the Torah, he had received revelation from God through Jibrail to order the Children of Israel to worship on Saturdays and forbade doing deeds outside religious practice. Sabbath Day is a day prohibited to work. According to the Qur'an, during the time of Prophet Daud, there was a tribe in the city of Eilat who refused to follow the ban on working on the Sabbath that they were sworn into apes. The Christians also have a Sabbatical day, which is Sunday, while Muslims are commanded to make Friday as their official day of worship and still be practiced today. However, Muslims can still do their business before and after Friday prayers.
