Subsidi
A subsidy is a form of financial aid paid to a business or economic sector. Most subsidies are made by the government to manufacturers or distributors in an industry to prevent the industry's deterioration or a rise in product prices or simply to encourage it to hire more employees. Suatu subsidi merupakan satu bentuk bantuan kewangan yang dibayar kepada suatu perniagaan atau sektor ekonomi. Kebanyakan subsidi dibuat oleh kerajaan kepada pengeluar atau pengedar di dalam sebuah industri untuk mencegah kemerosotan industri itu atau suatu kenaikan harga produk atau hanya untuk menggalakkannya bagi menggaji lebih banyak pekerja.
